Penske: Chasing Speed

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Team Penske Racing, Pennzoil wanted to create a book that celebrated their never-ending pursuit of speed. To honor that legacy, we designed a book that's equipped with a working speedometer. Each spread highlights a key moment in the five decade history of Team Penske. The design is a combination of typographic quotes from the team, historic and chronological imagery and bold graphics. In the end, the book was given to the legend, Roger Penske, key team members and has been featured at the Team Penske Racing Museum and the Motorsports and International Motorsports Hall of Fame.
